Murstein interview
FSC's Sean Wheelock sat down for an interview with potential MLS owner Andrew Murstein. Main points:
- Murstein's interest in MLS is very recent. Dave Checketts really sold him on MLS as, above all, a sound business opportunity
- Buying KC is still an option, but he seems to be warming to the idea of an expansion team. He drops New York, Houston, San Antonio, and Rochester as potential locales. It's interesting to see Rochester back in the mix.
- Still trying to pry the Cosmos name from Peppe Pinton...
- Claims to be interested in MLS for the long haul ("I hope to be involved in the sport for the next 30 years")
- Actually says he likes MLS' single-entity format
